Sneaker Fiend Saturday: The Hundreds Edition

This week The Hundreds unveil their Summer 2010 Footware collection, including all new fabrications in three new colours apiece. The original Footware model - the Johnson Mid, is back with suede uppers, contrasting laces and splatter-printed midsoles. Its little brother, the Johnson Low, features two-tone canvas uppers and a matching pinstripe around the midsoles and the Valenzuela Low is all grown-up, with smart-looking faux-leather uppers, and contrasting red pinstripes on the midsoles. The entire collection features The Hundreds signature Jags motif on the soles, light foam padding at the tongues and collar openings for comfort, as well as soft EVA insoles with a half-length latex insoles for cushioning. Available this Thursday at THLA and THSF.

The Phoenix Sunglasses

Sunglasses are a necessary part of life here in Los Angeles, so we have two new matte versions of the Phoenix sunglasses from the The Hundreds Spring 2010 Eyeware collection. These classic California-style shades feature 100% hand made acetate frames, 5 barrel metal hinges, glossy laser etched tonal logos on the left side, and are made in Italy. Our buddy Adam Bomb, as envisioned by the incomparable Michael Lau. He's arguably the biggest name in vinyl figure design, and having made a huge name for himself with 10 years of his distinctive Gardener figures, we've been longtime converts too. So with that in mind, we're incredibly excited to present our own special colorway of the Michael Lau x The Hundreds figure, which was unveiled at De La Barracuda recently - in the woodgrain version. This black version of the figure, Michael Lau's original interpretation of our trusty Adam Bomb mascot, is rendered our signature colors, and is strictly available in the United States through The Hundreds.

A new collaborative T-shirt, commemorating The Hundreds release of Michael Lau's vinyl figure interpretation of our trusty Adam Bomb mascot. Lau is a native of Hong Kong, who is now one of the world's premier vinyl figure designers, with a strong global following, and countless impressive collaborations under his belt. The T-shirt features the front of the figure, printed large across the front of the shirt, standing over a The Hundreds logo, the Gardner Tenth logo, the Mindstyle logo, and the Crazysmiles logo. The back of the tee features a print of the back of the figure, over the same four logos in reverse.
